This has been pretty awesome times for all Katie male fans (and maybe females too ;)) because there seems to be a new Katherine and bikini paparazzi set out daily. I bring you two of them today.

June 17th, 2008 - Fun in the Sun for Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley (Comments (0))

They arrived at the Cancun International Airport in Mexico yesterday, and Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley didn’t waste any time before hitting the beach. The “Knocked Up” babe and her “Hey Katie” crooner were spotted prancing around in the Mexican sun, enjoying a few drinks as well as publicly displaying their affection for each other. Heigl looked fit in a metallic pink bikini and oversized white beach hat with shades while Josh went shirtless in a pair of white cargo-style board shorts with a khaki fedora-ish hat.

According to reports, the Mexican getaway is in celebration of Heigl’s completion of her latest film “The Ugly Truth,” slated to open April 3rd of 2009 and starring Gerard Butler and Cheryl Hines.

June 13th, 2008 - Heigl Upsets Grey’s Staff With Emmy Snub (Comments (4))

KATHERINE HEIGL has upset staff on the set of GREY’S ANATOMY after withdrawing from the Emmy awards as part of a protest about her character’s development on the hit show.

The actress insisted her name be left off the official ballot because she felt her character was awful during the most recent season of the medical drama.

But the move has disgruntled workers on the programme.
A source tells America’s Entertainment Weekly, “The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticises the show for lack of material?

“It’s an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.”

Heigl won the Best Supporting Actress prize at the Emmys last year (08). She has since established herself as a movie star with roles in Knocked Up and 27 Dresses.

Katherine Heigl won the Emmy for best actress in a drama series in 2007.

Katherine Heigl will not be an Emmy contender this year. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star, who won Best Actress at the Emmys last year, has pulled her name from the list of contenders for the 2008 ceremony, blaming her withdrawal on the show’s scripts.
“I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention,” she told the Los Angeles Times’ Gold Derby.

During Heigl’s Emmy-wining Season 3 performance, “Grey’s Anatomy” was watched by 18.7 million for the season. Season 4 was seen by 14.4 million people on average.

June 11th, 2008 - Katherine Heigl to star in ‘Escape’ (Comments (0))

Katherine Heigl will star in and produce the feature film adaptation of “Escape,” the bestselling memoir of Carolyn Jessop, whose testimony helped convict polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs.Relevant Entertainment and Como Court Prods. acquired the book. Michael Menchel and Cat Williams will produce with Heigl and her Abishag partner Nancy Heigl.

Jessop was born into the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints sect. At 18 she married a man 32 years her senior; at 35, she fled with her eight children.

Equity financier Como Court Prods. will pay to develop the script.

Relevant was started by Menchel, the former longtime CAA agent who became a manager at Artists Management Group before shifting to producer. The shingle has set up several projects at studios including a Paramount film Menchel is producing with Simon Cowell about tenor Paul Potts and the family film “The Tortoise & The Hippo” at Walden Media.

Heigl is shooting the Robert Luketic-directed Sony/Lakeshore comedy “The Ugly Truth.” Abishag projects include “Alpha Moms,” a Ryan Shiraki-scripted comedy for Warner Bros., which the Heigls are producing with Code Entertainment’s Larry Kennar and Rick Berg, and the Fox 2000/Spyglass action comedy “Drawn Together.”

I’m so sorry for the lack of updates, I have been really busy with a new job and our other webmistress has dissapeared somewhere. I updated the gallery adding tons of Katie candids from last month, on set pictures from The Ugly Truth and pics of Katie’s apperiance from last Saturday in 7th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. She was looking so great, this has to be one of my favorite apperiance look from her Enjoy!

May 8th, 2008 - Katherine Heigl Leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’? (Comments (1))

Katherine Heigl is considering leaving hit TV show ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ to concentrate on her film career, it has been claimed.

The 29-year-old actress - who has found success in romantic comedies ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘27 Dresses’ - is said to be keen to end her contract with the medical drama to focus entirely on movies.

A source close to the actress said: “She’s working really long hours and is ready to move on. She’s a smart one. ”

“She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can’t seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early.”

However, Katherine - who made headlines when negotiations for her contract renewal on the show were made public 15 months ago - may be locked into her contract and will have to continue starring as Dr. Isobel Stevens.

The source added to Us Weekly magazine: “I don’t think she’ll be able to get out of it.”

Katherine can next be seen in romantic comedy ‘The Ugly Truth’ with Gerard Butler. Since starring as Rachel Green in ‘Friends’, Jennifer has appeared in a host of films, including ‘The Break-Up’ and ‘Bruce Almighty’, but has failed to shake off her TV character.
